Chris Van Hollen is up to his usual tricks again--blaming Republicans for everything and trying to divide people. He spends little time in the 8th District representing the legal tax-paying Montgomery County citizens. He is out recruiting more Democrats across the nation and pushing a "divide and conquer" political agenda. Maryland Rep. Chris Van Hollen, the House Democrats' chief fundraiser, said Thursday his Republican counterparts are using "shadowy organizations" to skirt campaign finance laws and target Democratic candidates nationwide. "There are these shadowy groups out there who can spend an unlimited amount of unaccountable money," Mr. Van Hollen said in a newsmaker interview with The Washington Times. "That is what Freedom's Watch is geared up to do." What does he think the Democrat Party does with hundreds of millions of dollars? I say that Van Hollen cannot handle the truth and wants to limit free speech. He wants everyone who does not agree with him to just go away. Well, Chris--why don't you go away? You are very partisian and a very left-leaning liberal. You feel that you are safe in the 8th District and can do anything you want while those who live in Montgomery County have to put up with your nonsense. I suggest that you "move on" with your liberal Move-On.org organization. -

There are very clear differences between Senator McCain and Obama's tax plans for Americans. Listed below are jsut some of the proposed changes in taxes after 2008 General election. If you think that making the right decision for this Presidential election does not matter---think again. Elections have consequences. -

Why are the Denver Police told to ignore pot possession during the Democrat convention? Is Obama (and his supporters) ignoring our national laws and going back to his pot-smoking days? Why does the DNC support this decision not to arrest port smokers? If Obama should win the White House--will pot-smokers show up there for a party? -

Wherever you stand, please take the time to read this; it ought to scare the beejeebers out of you! We know Dick Lamm as the former Governor of Colorado. In that context, his thoughts are particularly poignant. Last week there was an immigration overpopulation conference in Washington, DC, filled to capacity by many of America's finest minds and leaders. A brilliant college professor by the name of Victor Davis Hansen talked about his latest book, "Mexifornia," explaining how immigration - both legal and illegal was destroying the entire state of California. He said it would march across the country until it destroyed all vestiges of The American Dream. -

Ted Stevens has been a great public elected official for many years. He has devoted his life to the people of Alaska and the United States. His recent indictment is a result of a political witch hunt by the Democrats and his political opponents. -

The below is a Letter to the Editor by Brad Botwin detailing the political and financial support of CASA by Maryland politicians. It is all about "votes" and protecting CASA. It is not about protecting the citizens of Maryland, enforcing the law, or using our tax dollars wisely. If Maryland stopped giving away driver licenses and supporting illegals, the state would save over $500 Million a year.

Russia seems to be trying to regain its military and political power in their part of the world. They have not been working as a "teammate" of the United States for several years. Putin wants Russia to return to its Golden Years as a world power. -

Iran continues to fund terrorists who are killing American soldiers. We have been saying this for years, yet the current administration will do nothing about it. Again, border security is key to keeping these forces out of Iraq. Sen. Joseph Lieberman termed Iran's training of Iraqi insurgents "an act of war" in a Florida appearance Wednesday. -

I have been on the US-Mexico border many times and have witnessed illegal immigrants, drug runners, human traffickers, and the Mexican Army coming into the United States. This incursion happens all the time since the Mexican Army is protecting drug runners. -

Under the leadership of the Democrats, the US Congress is doing NOTHING to solve our energy crisis. They had rather play politics than assist the average American family. -

Recently, the Washington Times ran an article on the highest paid executives in the DC Metro area. Guess who was on the list? That's right--all of the key executives of Fannie and Freddie. Each executive earned $10-20 million in one year, yet these organizations want the taxpayers to bail them out. What is wrong with this picture?
